Cosmoctopus

“Somewhere in the deep abyss of the cosmos there was a young space octopus named Squib. One day, they met a lovely space dog, Cosmo. They grew very close and eventually they reached a crucial point in their relationship. That was the day Cosmo gave his heart to Squib and Squib gave all their three hearts to Cosmo. This exchange meant they’d become each other’s Loved Ones. They were now so close that they trusted one another to be responsible for each other’s fragile little hearts. They were happy, and everything seemed perfect.

But one day, something dreadful happened. The ship they were on was on the verge of crumbling; the containers, where the hearts were stored, were in grave danger, and everything suddenly turned red… The sounds of the alarms were unbearable. Our young heroes’ voices were lost in the chaos. Screaming, crying, blinded by negativity. Where did this all come from? How could this have happened? With no time to process all the emotions, nor the situation at hand, everything fell silent and suddenly…BOOM.

Is everything lost...? The last thing Squib could make out through their blurry teary-eyed vision and all the debris was Cosmo’s heart shattering and scattering all across space. They tried to find him, come closer and embrace him but… it was like their body was paralyzed and no matter what they did, they couldn’t reach him.

When Squib opened their eyes again, everything was gone. And now, all that they could think of was getting their Loved One’s precious heart back, in hopes of seeing Cosmo again, if only for one last goodbye.”

The main goal of the game is to collect all 3 heart pieces that are scattered across the cosmos. The sub-goals are as follows:

• Do NOT let the H2O level drain, otherwise, Squib will suffocate and the game will be over
• Avoid asteroids, for crashing into them will deal damage considerable damage, reducing Squib’s H2O level.
• Avoid black holes; upon contact with them, you instantly get sucked in and lose all your health.
• Consume water blobs to replenish the H2O level
• Use Squib’s celestial powers to consume nebulas that will give the octopus fart boosts, allowing for faster maneuvering.
